How to promote the domain controller 2012

Information: - In this post we will discuss the promote domain controller. We are going to promote the domain controller 2012 step by step.

1: - Click the Promote this server to a domain controller.

2:- Select the Add a new forest and fill the domain name then click

 the next option.

3:- Then select the FFL and DFL along with set the password of

 DSRM.

4:- Then click the next option.

5:- Then verify the NetBIOS name after that click next.

6:- Then specify the location of the AD DS database, log file and

 sysvol location.

7:- Review the configuration of the new domain then click next option.

8:- After all prerequisite check and passed successfully then click the install option.

9:- After complete the installation server will be reboot.

2:- Then click on the add role and feature option.

4:- Then Select the Role-based or Feature-based installion and click Next options.

5:- Then select a server from the server pool and click next option.

6:- Then select the Active Directory Domain Services option and

 click next.

7:- Then click the next option.

8:- Then Click the Next options.

9:- Then click the Install options.

10:- The installation is in progress after installation the screen show as below. 

11:- Then click close options.
